The agent must complete and submit the Southern Classic Realtors Agent Application to initiate their onboarding process.

  • Action: Prospective agents complete and submit the SCR Agent Application.
  • Purpose: Initiates the onboarding process and provides essential information for subsequent steps.

The Onboarding Team will review the agent’s name and license number on the Georgia Real Estate Commission website to verify the license status.

Please note that the information provided in the Agent Application must match the name as it appears on their real estate license. Log into the GREC Website to view your R.E. License name and number: “Link”

  • Action: SCR’s onboarding team verifies the agent’s license status with the Georgia Real Estate Commission, Georgia Association of REALTORS, and National Association of REALTORS. Then the application is reviewed by SCR’s broker team to assess eligibility and alignment with company standards.
  • Purpose: We ensure the agent holds an active and valid real estate license in Georgia and confirm that the agent meets SCR’s professional criteria and standards.

SCR will contact the agent with detailed instructions regarding the next steps in the license transfer process. Please ensure your formal broker deactivates your GREC R.E. License before SCR transfers/activates your license. Once the agent’s license has been affiliated with Southern Classic Realtors, the agent will proceed to the final step of onboarding.

  • Action: SCR’s broker team guides the agent through the process of transferring their license to Southern Classic Realtors.
  • Purpose: Officially affiliate the agent’s license with SCR, authorizing them to operate under the brokerage.

Important SCR Policies

Out of State – Dual Licensed Agents:
Per SCR policy, agents with out of state – dual R.E. licenses must have an extra contract signed by out of state broker and SCR. For any questions, please contact onboarding@southernclassicrealtors.com.

The Onboarding Team will review the agent’s completed HR documentation. Which includes the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) and Compensation Agreement. If needed, we will contact the agent regarding any necessary revisions.

All correspondence related to revisions will be sent from one of the following email addresses: southernclassicrealtor@gmail.com or jasonhamby@southernclassicrealtors.com.

  • Action: Agents complete and submit necessary documents, including the Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA), Compensation Agreement, Policy and Procedure Manual, W-9 form, and Welcome Packet. Also, collects a payment method on file for SCR monthly office dues.
  • Purpose: Formalize the agent’s association with SCR and sets up compensation arrangements.

Welcome to SCR!

The Onboarding Team will review the Agent Applications in full in order to activate them in our system. The agent will receive an automated Welcome Email once they are converted to active status in our internal systems.

  • Action: Upon successful license transfer and HR documentation completion, the agent is activated in SCR’s system and receives a welcome email with access credentials. This includes TotalBrokerage, SocialBay, MLS access, etc.
  • Purpose: Provide the agent with the necessary tools and information to commence their activities with SCR.

 

For Newly Activated SCR Agents: To kickstart a successful career with Southern Classic Realtors and gain access to essential systems, tools, and collaboration opportunities, YOU WILL RECEIVE ANOTHER EMAIL VIA TOTALBROKERAGE HR QUESTIONNAIRE that will contain more instruction on agent orientation and training.
  • Action: Agents participate in our SCR’s recorded and live orientation program, which includes training on company policies, procedures, and available resources. Also, agents participate in our SCR recorded and live TotalBrokerage & SocialBay session, which includes training on CRM, Marketing, Transaction Management, and more.
  • Purpose: Ensures agents are well-informed about SCR’s operations and equipped to succeed in their roles.
