As I always say, It’s your responsibility to know these matters, and stating that you just didn’t know is NOT going to hold any weight with GREC or NAR/GAR, especially if someone files a complaint against you and they find you not in compliance. Fines, Continuing education, loss of license, lawsuits… Make sure that you are versed in real estate law and the Code of Ethics.
